Each line uses a published national figure, linked under it, times how you travel. Fuel assumes about 250 miles a travel day at typical mileage for your rig. Groceries, eating out and entertainment count only the part of the year you're on the road. Insurance is a national average; yours depends on your rig's value, your record and your state. Maintenance and loan payments vary too much from rig to rig to average, so they're not included. Campgrounds are priced by the night; a monthly stay often costs less. The range is plus or minus 15%.
